Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology（JASB）创刊于2010年6月，是由中国科学技术协会主管、中国畜牧兽医学会主办的一本全英文OA期刊。主编为中国工程院院士、中国农业大学李德发教授。自2012年开始与BMC合作，并改为OA出版，2015年获得首个期刊影响因子（1.681）。2019年12月入选中国科技期刊卓越行动计划领军期刊类项目。

JASB 载文范围包括动物遗传学、繁殖、营养、生理学、生物化学、生物技术、饲料和动物生产。主要刊载涉及猪、家禽、肉牛、奶牛、绵羊、山羊在内的原创性研究和综述，但也欢迎有关水生和实验动物研究的投稿。
