This special issue is to exchange the recent advances in the use of diverse feedstuffs and feed additives and their interplay with the gut health of monogastric animals (Poultry, Pig, and Fish) for improving animal production.
Research articles and Reviews are welcome. Please refer to our submission guidelines for information on preparing your manuscript and submit your manuscript via our online submission system. To ensure that you submit to the correct thematic series, please select the appropriate section in the drop-down menu upon submission.
02 Dryland agriculture: Towards the synergy of production and ecology through sustainable agronomy
The Special Issue welcomes original research, reviews, opinions, and meta-analysis articles.
Specific themes of the Special Issue mainly include but are not limited to:
●How do agronomic practices affect the hidden-half hydrological, ecological and biological processes related to roots in dryland agroecosystems?
●How do agronomic practices regulate root uptake of water and nutrients in dryland agroecosystems and what are the underlying mechanisms?
●How do agronomic practices affect the ecological functioning of dryland agroecosystems and what are the underlying mechanisms?
●How do agronomic practices regulate the impacts of extreme climate events (rainstorms, drought or frost) on production and ecological functioning of dryland agroecosystems?
●Evaluation of the trade-off and synergy in production and ecology due to various agronomic practices in dryland agroecosystems.
03 The politics of decarbonisation Investigating the carbon-related transformations of production activities, organizations and sectors
期刊:Review of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Studies

The special issue aims to investigate the emergence of carbon-centred logics and rationales in a range of production activities and sectors including agriculture, forests, and mining. It aims to account for the reconfiguration of production organisations, practices and strategies and business models according to low-carbon objectives and decarbonisation agendas – i.e. in the name of their potential of carbon emission reduction or carbon sequestration in a context of climate change.

We invite you to submit the manuscript (like research, review, consensus, case report, perspective, letter, etc) with the topic: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Epilepsy to share with the knowledge and points on application of AI in diagnosis and therapy of epilepsy. The editorial office is dedicated to process the submissions with highly priority.
05 Dissociation, trauma, and borderline personality disorder

Dissociation is a complex phenomenon, which occurs in various clinical conditions, including dissociative disorders, (complex) post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD, CPTSD), and borderline personality disorder (BPD). Traumatic stress is considered an important risk factor,. Yet, the etiology of dissociation is still strongly debated. Next to traumatic experiences, temperamental and neurobiological vulnerabilities seem to contribute to pathological dissociation.
The effect of dissociation (e.g. on psychosocial functioning and treatment) may further depend on the overall psychopathological context. Improving the understanding of these associations can have strong implications for prevention and treatment.
This special issue invites submissions from different disciplines (psychology, psychiatry, neurobiology etc.), including dimensional approaches based on more recent conceptualizations of personality pathology.

The scope is deliberately broad to identify factors (known and unknown) that influence outcome of total hip and knee arthroplasty. The factors can include multiple variables such as but not restricted to:
●Patient factors: sex, age, expectations, socioeconomic status
●Joint specific factors: hip, knee, total/partial, pattern of disease, varus/valgus
●Surgeon factors: volume, technique
●Implant: type, alignment
●General health: comorbidity, frailty, quality of life

This special issue of Arthroplasty is meant to consolidate the latest knowledge and understanding of PJI. This Research Topics also provide open platform for demonstrating novel ideas and insights into PJI, from fundamental etiological research to cutting-edge clinical studies.
We encourage the researchers to submit their constructive proposals and innovations to facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of PJI. We welcome original research articles, reviews and perspectives related to the potential topics. The papers include, but are not limited to:
●Epidemiology of PJI during joint arthroplasty;
●Risk factors for infection after total hip and knee arthroplasty;
●Peri-operative measures to prevent PJI;
●Factors affecting the rate of PJI in patients with joint arthroplasty;
●Economic burden of PJI after joint arthroplasty;
●Managements of acute and chronic PJI;
●Indications and contraindications for DAIR;
●Indications of intra-articular injection of antibiotics
